14 Ministers Engaged Citizens In September On Social Media

• 14 Ministers were active on Facebook

• 8 Ministers were active on Instagram.

• Citizens think Ministers are not deliberate with citizen’s engagement

• Ministries are more deliberate but minimal collaboration with Ministers was observed

Only fourteen Ministers in the Buhari led government engaged with citizens in September on social media, according to a new Gates Polls online survey for the month of September 2021.

This week’s finding is down six points from a month ago.

The social media survey of all cabinet Minister’s with a social media handle was conducted by Gates Polls from September 26-30, 2021. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
